Enhanced Power Converter Capacity and Reduced Footprint: Featuring the latest IGBT chip technology, optimized internal terminal and chip layouts, and advanced heat dissipation materials, the HPnC Series achieves an industry-leading rated current of 1800 A – an impressive 80% increase compared to FE's prior offerings. This remarkable improvement allows for a significant reduction in the number of power converters needed, while maintaining the same physical footprint. Reduced Power Generation Costs: The HPnC Series also introduces 2300 V breakdown voltage models, specifically designed for 1500 VDC power converters. Traditionally, such converters required connecting two IGBT modules with lower voltage ratings (1200 V or 1700 V) in series. By optimizing the breakdown voltage structure of the IGBT and FWD chips, FE's 2300 V modules eliminate the need for this configuration.
